Canine II PT: Gross and Applied Anatomy and Therapeutic Exercise Prescription

This course will provide the participant with a comprehensive examination of canine anatomy. Basic components of the orthopaedic and neurologic examination will be introduced as well as normal canine gait. Course material will include detailed review in both lecture and laboratory sessions of canine arthrology, myology, osteology and neuroanatomy. The dissection lab will be a major component of this course. Participants will be guided through a clinically applied dissection of the dog and will have access to anatomical teaching specimens as well.
